Many have asked questions about the life of musicians who are off the stage as a result of the coronavirus pandemic with some attesting that musicians in Ghana have faded away or become 'poor' due to the situation.

However, few musicians have defied the norm and have taken on some business ventures to keep them relevant while their music is not topping billboard charts.

One such musician who has set himself apart in this regard is Enoch Allotey popularly known as Apaatse who has established restaurants among others which employs several people from chefs to waiters.

Speaking on the 'Best Entertainment Show' with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM Wednesday, Apaatse disclosed that he is currently venturing in other businesses.

He said, "No musician can survive with only music, I have to add a side business aside music. That doesn't mean I have ditched music. Of course, I still do music. I don't really sell rice but rather the CEO of the company. We sell food, rice, banku among others".

He added that "I have had a special dedication for food production, reason venturing into the food business as a side business. I started doing this like one year now".
