Musicians to grace Oman FM Anniversary jam

As part of activities marking its one year anniversary, Oman Fm will on Tuesday July 1 organise a music bash at the forecourt of the station located at Madina in Accra.



Artistes billed to perform include Slim Busterr, Amakye Dede, Ohema Mercy, Isaac Showboy, Obour, Sidney, Philipa Baafi, Paa Solo, Chemphe, 4X4 and a host of others.



Oman Fm which invaded the airwaves a year ago has managed to carve a niche for itself with massive support from top presenters like Fiifi Boafo, host of its morning show and Boiling Point; DJ Awana; Okyerefuo; Delay as well as Emanuel Ohemeng, head of current affairs; and director of programmes, Moses Okine; and Nana Okyere Awurukuo, news editor.



The station was rated among the best five by the National Media Commission with good coverage of news among others.

It is the only station in Ghana which broadcasts its morning show live on Net 2 television.



According to the head of talk shows and current affairs, Emmanuel Ohemeng, some the programmes lined-up for the anniversary celebration include a road show, and corporate dinner for its loyal clients and listeners.



He said Kencity, operators of Oman FM, Net 2 Television and National Agenda newspaper, is a media empire which also manages stations like Spice FM in Takoradi and Ashh FM in Kumasi.Oman FM now has 18 affiliated radio stations throughout the country.
