Gyedu Blay Ambolley has said that Bice Osei Kuffuor, Musiga president has failed as the union’s president because he did not utilize the huge sums of money given to the union.

On Accra – based radio station, Adom 106.3 FM’s Work and Happiness hosted by Ohemaa Woyeje last two weeks, the veteran Ghanaian musician said he Musiga President Obour has done nothing for Musicians and the union he heads.

When Ohemaa Woyeje asked him to assess the performance of the president of the union, Bice Osei Kuffour, he said: “I will rate Obour 2/10 because he hasn’t done anything for the union. He was given a huge sum of money but he didn’t utilize it. He said he used the money for research but until now, we haven’t seen the result.”

Speaking on issues concerning the musician union of Ghana (MUSIGA), he said he didn’t accept the role to be part of the MUSIGA executive after the election because of the ambiguity at the union. “The leaders are not doing things right,” he told the host.

“I have released thirty albums to my credit and I am still doing active music. I travel outside the country to play shows and I am active in writing and performing,” Ambolley added.
