Gospel music sensation, Joyce Blessing has once again stirred controversy by claiming that, her unbreakable album has more hits than Daddy Lumba’s Awoso album, which has yentie obiaa as the hit track.
This is the second time the gospel queen is making such a claim. She made similar on a different platform, which attracted condemnation from a section of the public.
Speaking on Atinka FM’s mid-morning show, “Edwumaoo” hosted by Roman Fadda, the gospel icon maintained her stance, adding that, many of her tracks have been the toast of many Ghanaians. Aside massive airplays, most of the songs on her current album are played at almost every function including night clubs.
She claimed that, her latest album has hit tracks like Mensai Da, which is the hit song, Heavy Price, Nyame Oguama featuring Jewel Ackah, Menka kyere obiaa, Katamanto Nyame amongst others while Lumba has only “Yentie obiaa and Awoso.”
“Apart from that, my songs are played at very function including night clubs. Lumba’s songs cannot be played in church,” Madam Blessing confidently argued.
She nonetheless praised Daddy Lumba for churning out hit after hit for over two decades, adding that the highlife icon is really a legend.
