Gospel minister, Bro. Sammy affectionately known as the Nation’s Worshipper has revealed that the very popular and heated enmity that was witnessed by many music lovers from his camp and that of the camp of his colleague in the gospel music fraternity, Ernest Opoku sometime ago was intentionally planned to gain some media hype for songs they were about to release.

In the interview he had with Multimedia’s MzGee and monitored by zionfelix.net, the ‘Nnipafoo’ hitmaker made the point that the Ghana music industry is quite a difficult one to penetrate through and normally before one can be able to make some name for him or herself, a lot of capital injection is needed.

He added that if an individual does not have capital of about Gh100,000 or more, then the second most viable way to trend and get the needed hype for a song you are about to release is by causing some controversy which will attract the attention of the media.

Asked if he felt it was right to engage in a beef with another gospel musician just like the musicians in the secular industry do, he gave a very emphatic yes answer. Bro. Sammy made the shocking revelation that people who do secular music even copied the manner of beefing from them ( the gospel musicians).
