My best is yet to come - K. K. Fosu

With many musicians now turning to live band music because of the cry from music lovers of getting tired with mining of songs; KK Fosu arguably one of the best young musicians of our time has promised his fans and music lovers in general to watch out for the best of him in terms of good songs and lyrics and more particularly playing with a live band.

“I have starved my fans and Ghanaians for so long and I think now is the appointed time to unleash the best of KK Fosu  for them to have a feel of what I am made of. So come this Saturday at the John Legend show which is aimed at raising funds for our deprived brothers and sisters in the North, I will be playing with a live band and I will unleash something unknown to them”.

“I will be performing live tracks from my latest album and this is something I have never done before. This would be the first time I would be performing any of the tracks on my latest album with a live band”, the D Styler added.

For those who don’t know KK Fosu that much, he played live band music in the early nineties before heading to the studios for his first album. He is not a novice when it comes to live band music. Hear him; “I know there are people out there who know I can perform to live band but am now packaging a special surprise and as we approach December the package will be opened and like we say it, “scent no bi ji bebia”.

KK Fosu together with Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Tinny, Wulomei, Slim Buster, and Mac Tontoh would be part of the Ghanaian lineup for the fund raising concert featuring John Legend, Luciano, and a host of other stars for the night.

The SOUL OF AFRICA CONCERT is presented by Creative Storm on Saturday 27 October, 2007. The concert is in aid of the victims of the flood disaster in Northern Ghana and the campaign to eradicate guinea worm, the dilapidating water-borne disease afflicting the poor in Northern Ghana.
