My girlfriend was sacked from Legon because of me - Kunta Kinte

Kunta Kinte of Bradez fame has revealed her onetime girlfriend was expelled from the University of Ghana because she spent a lot of time with him.

The hip-life act who was struck with stroke for more than five years told Onua FM that his said girlfriend spent most of her school hours at his sick bedside; something that earned her an expulsion.

“This lady was the only woman in my life; she was committed to me and spent most of her time with me in the hospital that is why she was expelled from the university and I really appreciate her for that” she said.

Notwithstanding the audacious sacrifices made by the said girlfriend, Kunta Kinte revealed he is no more dating her because he called the relationship quits but did not explain why.

“We are no more together, I suggested that we should quit due to certain circumstance. But I can tell you we are very good friends,” he said.

Kinte announced his comeback in 2015 with a single he titled: "Resurrection of Kunta" which narrated the how he got stroke and the ordeal he had to endure over the years.

He said coming back into the music industry wouldn’t be that difficult for him as some people may be thinking and that he is poised for the challenges.

Kinte expressed gratitude to his family as well as some musicians including Tinny, and Samini for their support and prayers.
