Under Samini’s Highgrade family comes one of Ghana’s best highlife musician, Kofi Kinaata, who most people believe has delayed in growth considering the Highgrade family being more of dancehall.

Speaking with Arnold Mensah Elevanyo on ‘Vibes in 5,’ the Susuka hitmaker said: kofi kinatta.

“I don’t think, I am being delayed under Highgrade. It’s a process; you have to grow from a level to the other so I think I am learning. Sometimes we sit down and share ideas so I know their plans and what they want to do in relation to my music so there is no need to rush because if you rush you crush and it is well with where I am. Although I haven’t tested any other management aside highgrade, if my management agrees on my move to another record label, I will have no option than to go.”

The singer who started in Tarkoradi said his first hit Onyi Chorus got him his breakthrough as even in Tarkoradi, the feedback of it being played in Accra and was again followed by Odo Pa which also introduced him to the corporate world with the help of Castro and Asamoah Gyan adding that, Susuka has gained him more fan base, and although he cannot relate with all his fans, he makes sure he takes into consideration their thought and suggestions on social media.

Responding to those that compare him to Pappy Kojo, he said: “I think they don’t know what they are saying, because we are two different people though we sing in same dialect. In my principle, it’s a mission and not a competition and I am not planning to be better than anybody, I want to be better than the person I was yesterday, so am working on myself.”

The musician who is also a member of the Church of Christ has released a new song he calls Sweety Pie for his female fans as well as guys who would want to sing to their loved ones.

He is set to release the video of the new single very soon as work is being put in place so the general public should be ready for it soon.

He also appreciated his fans for their support and urged them to keep supporting his winning team.
