Known in real life as Albert Bejamin Crentsil, A.B Crentsil is one of Ghana’s pioneers in highlife music and has had many hit songs dating from the early 70’s and still has some songs which are still relevant in recent times.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Hammer on Hammer Time on Pure 95.7 fm, the Legendary musician was speaking on some exciting and low moments of his career as a musician and he made it known that his hit song ‘Moses‘ made his mom quit the Methodist Church.
Giving more detail on how he happened, he said his mom as a result of the song earned the Moniker ‘Moses Maame‘ at church even though she wasn’t aware of the monster hit song her son had created but his mom couldn’t take the harassment and complains certain church elders and members were giving her so she had to quit the Methodist Church to the SDA Church.
