Emerging Ghanaian Gospel singer, Efua Black, has revealed the gateway to her bright music career.
The minister of God made this interesting revelation in an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz on Friday, May 31, 2024.
According to the Takoradi-based singer, her musical journey commenced with a prophecy in the year 2014.
She started receiving songs through revelations five years later, which was during the lockdown period due to the worldwide COVID 19 pandemic.
She started recording the songs immediately after the lockdown.
"This is how it happened: I visited Redemption Power Ministries in Accra and immediately the man of God who was ministering saw me, and he said, 'you should've started doing an album two years ago.
"Though I was singing in church in the choir and everything, I didn't even think of transitioning into the mainstream," the inspirational singer revealed.
The Takoradi-based songstress currently has nine songs to her credit. Her Only God EP, which is solely her vocal contributions, is an evergreen spirit-filled project.
Her four years in the professional music space after years of performing in the church have been full of testimonies of God's involvement in her ministry.
The 'Oye Jesus' singer is an emerging talent from the Western Region of Ghana. The young singer, whose ministry began with a prophetic message, is definitely on the right path.
Her well-produced songs, which pay particular attention to the songwriting, arrangement, and vocals weaved in the Fante dialect, have a lot to offer the Ghanaian Gospel music industry.
Efua Black, like many philanthropists, likes celebrating her birthdays with orphans and prisoners to offer some encouragement and brighten up their day.
She also hosts an annual event, the Holy Ghost Concert, which is arguably one of the biggest gospel concerts in the Western Region.
The Only God EP, which has 3 songs and other beautiful projects by Efua, is available on all streaming platforms.
