My natural Hair Looks Like Pubic Hair- Nana Aba Anamoah

Nana Aba Anamoah, TV3 news anchor and host of Diva’s show has said she will never marry a Rastafarian because of her perception that every Rastafarians smokes “weed”.

She made this statement on the ‘Hang Out’ segment on the Cruise Control’ show with Kwame B on Hitz FM. Nana Aba said though she had a “perception about Rastafarians, she loved the mentality of anybody who believed in Rastafarians though she could not rally jell with them. She explained that she respected Rastafarians but would find it difficult to spend much time or a whole day with a Rastafarian since she was scared that some of the hair might enter her mouth.

Nana Aba stated that being a Rastafarian did not make a person different but she needed to be sensitized in order to do away with the perception she held about them. When asked why she loved putting on weaves, Nana Aba said her natural hair didn’t look good and looked like pubic hair that was why she loved wearing weaves.

She further disclosed that if she had been a man, she would have seized every opportunity to advice all men not to hit a woman, no matter the provocation.**
