Ghana’s new sensation Gyesi Awura-Abena Stephanie, known in Showbiz circles as Arbbyna in an interview with Sammy kay on Neat 100.9 FM has revealed her inspiration for venturing into music.

According to Arbbyna, what inspired her to venture into music is to encourage young ones like herself to freely express themselves and be confident in their talents.

The young act said, she started singing and doing music at a very young age at church and due to that, she has encountered some challenges from people questioning her about the genre of music she has chosen. Arbbyna claims people are saying she would have suited the gospel genre rather but added she hopes to sail through with the Afro-pop genre. She is currently under her own record label AMG (not Chris Waddle’s Arab Money Gang) and does everything on her own with the support of her dad.

Arbbyna’s “twedea” song is gaining massive airplay and the public is loving it already, the video of the song is set to be released soon.

Arbbyna In an interview told Sammy Kay that, “ most people misinterpret my song as profane but it’s rather to inspire young guys to work hard”…. she stated.



Arbbyna recently completed S. H. S at Aggrey Memorial School where she studied business and passed her WAEC exams. She turned 18 years old August 14th and according to her, she is ready to put in hard work to leave a mark in Ghana’s music space.
