My parents had doubts I will do well with music – MzVee

Dancehall artiste, MzVee has disclosed that when she started her musical journey, her parents had doubt that she will do very well with her chosen career.

According to her, she had to prove herself to her parents and now they are proud of her achievements in the music industry.

She said while speaking to Accra-based Kasapa FM that “My parents were not sure of me, but I had to prove them wrong, and now they are happy and proud of me”.

The Dancehall artiste in the interview mentioned that although she is currently studying Business Management in School, she does not intend to end up in an office because she does not see herself sitting at one place all the time.

She indicated that she will invest her time and life into producing good music that will keep her career active for her lifetime.

“I want to do music for the rest of my life hopefully because I’m not an office type of person.”

“I am currently studying Business Management in School but I’m not an office type of person, though the Music job is demanding, I prefer it to sitting at one place.”
