Hiplife artiste, Kontihene says there is no way Kwaw Kese can be compared to him because his song, “Asesa” which was recorded years ago is bigger than Kwaw’s entire career.
Responding to Kwaw Kese’s statement that he [Kontihene] should concentrate on his dead career instead of publicly throwing punches at him, the Aketesia hit maker stated that the statement was ironic.
“Who is dead? Who shot a music video recently in a casket? It is he, his songs and management who are dead; not me,” he said in an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, Brunch2Lunch on Tuesday.
“Besides, my studio is situated in my house, my kids are there, should I invite him to come and smoke weed to my kids? Hell no!” he fumed.
Kontihene earlier in an interview with Pulse TV remarked that Kwaw Kese does not record songs with content and therefore he [Kontihene] will by no means consider doing collaboration with him.
But ‘The man insane’ in an interview with Amanda Jissih on Hitz FM said Kontihene is no more relevant in today’s music so he does not want to waste his breath talking about him.
He added that Kontihene wants to ride on his fame to resurrect his career but he will not give in.
Kontihene who sounded very angry on Radio Univers following Kwaw Kese’s response retorted,
“What name has he? Will I ride on a mad man for fame? You think I don’t have a pillow in my house? Musically, my song ‘Asesa’ is tougher than Kwaw Kese’s entire career. My songs: Gye Nyame , Etuo Mu Ye Sum, he can’t record songs like that.”
