MzVee reveals why she bypassed Kaakie when they met on the Delay show

Mzvee has reacted to reports that she bypassed Kaakie when they met on set for an interview with delay.

According to the report, “MzVee was seen in a recent video walking pass her ‘rival’ in the dancehall fraternity, Kaakie after an interactive interview with Delay.

Following her ‘beef’ with Kaakie, the 2016 VGMA best female vocalist disclosed that she has no aversion for Kaakie but on ending the interview Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay), the host suggested that she talk to Kaakie after the interview, since Kaakie was sitting behind her and waiting for her turn.

The video captured her (MzVee) walking quietly behind her ‘rival’ after the show.”

The ‘Borkor Borkor’ hitmaker reacting to the issue in an interview with MzGee on Hitz FM’s ‘Showbiz This Week’ entertainment show said she did not see Kaakie sitting at where she passed. The Ghanaian afropop, dancehall and R&B artiste disclosed that she would have talked to her if she knew Kaakie was around.

MzVee told MzGee that after taking pictures with fans who were around, she did not recognize her colleague sitting at where she passed even though Delay had earlier told her.

“I actually didn’t see her. She (Delay) said she (Kaakie) was around but I didn’t see her because if I did see her I would have said hi. Anytime I see her I say hi to her. I’ve not met her and not said hi before.”

She continued that she laughed after watching the video because she was surprised. She then pleaded with Ghanaians not to take what happened in the wrong way because she did not intentionally go pass her.

The artiste real name Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda disclosed that she talks to Kaakie anytime they meet.
