NAFAC committees to be inaugurated

The Brong-Ahafo Regional and National Planning Committees for the 2012 National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFAC) would be inaugurated on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in Sunyani.

The Ministry of Chieftaincy and Culture has chosen the Brong-Ahafo regional capital, Sunyani as the venue of the 2012 edition of NAFAC.

The festival is intended to showcase the rich cultural diversity of the country and also promote excellence and creativity in arts and culture in the Brong-Ahafo region and in Ghana as a whole.

The NAFAC regional and national planning committees are expected to develop the necessary proposals, structures and plans to effectively organize the event.
