Ghanaian stand-up comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney, also known as DKB, has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is the most non-tribalistic political party in the country.
Speaking at a town hall meeting organized by the NDC, the comedian mentioned that the NDC allows and welcomes everyone, irrespective of their tribal background.
DKB said this is the reason why people from all regions and tribes of Ghana would be found at all NDC gatherings.
He said, “Which party is here, the NDC, right? Let me tell you, the NDC is the most non-tribalistic party in Ghana; everyone is here.”
He continued to mention tribal groups in Ghana while members of the listed groups hailed.
At the same event, comedy skit maker SDK lamented the high cost of data and the low-speed internet connectivity in Ghana.
According to him, content production has become relatively expensive due to the increase in the cost of internet data, although internet speed and connectivity continue to be slow, impeding their productivity in terms of content creation.
SDK said, “I am also a content creator, and I agree with what my colleague just said. The issue of internet connectivity for we content creators is of major concern, and it is not only about the cost of the internet now but also the speed of it.”
