Highlife musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, has claimed that unlike the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the New Patriotic Party (NPP) consistently leaves a legacy whenever they are in power.
In an interview on Property FM in Cape Coast he said, “Whenever NPP comes into government they try to leave behind a trademark or legacy which most of us can mention, unlike the NDC.
"When President Kufour came, he left behind the National Health Insurance, among others but under President Mills, there’s no trademark to show for his tenure although he did his best.”
The ‘Bawumia Toaso’ crooner emphasised that the Mahama-led administration was abysmal.
“There is nothing to show under the presidency of Mahama which has become a legacy or trademark but even despite the criticisms at Akufo-Addo he’s been able to do Free SHS which is a trademark.
“And so if we consider these two political parties the one who always leaves behind a trademark or legacy is the one that we ought to allow to continue governing this country to do more for us,” he justified.
