Radio personality, Afia Pokua popularly known as Vim Lady, has revealed that some leading prophets who have been loyal to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are unhappy with the shine Rev Owusu-Bempah is currently enjoying.

According to her, they do not understand why after several years of being loyal to the opposition political party, they decide to give the spotlight to Owusu-Bempah who has just switched camps because he is not happy with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“What Mahama is doing these 61 days left for the December 7 election is to win the Christians to himself and he’s being very strategic. The meeting he had with the pastors in Accra was a very shenanigans move.

"But the problem was Owusu-Bempah who he brought on board. I know he will insult me for mentioning him but I don’t care about that. If you are a die-hard NDC supporter like Nigel Gaisie and Badu Kobi you’ll be peeved. Badu Kobi and Nigel Gaisie have been very loyal to the NDC and you all know that politics is done with loyalty.

"Look at how Kennedy Agyapong dealt with them but they were consistent and followed Mahama then last minute Owusu-Bempah came to take their glory he crowned kings and Presidents in the country. NDC must play their cards very well with the Owusu-Bempah issue or else it might backfire. Nigel Gaisie and Badu Kobi have been very consistent and loyal even against the Kennedy Agyapong fire they followed Mahama.

...That kind of loyalty is rare. If Owusu-Bempah was happy with NPP will he have come to pray for you? They need to be careful and know if Owusu-Bempah is genuine, however, they can use him for the campaign because they need the goodwill,” she said.

She continued, “Information available to me states that Badu Kobi, Nigel Gaisie, and others are not happy. Royal House Chapel’s Sam Korankye Ankrah and others are not happy. Even a day before they came they were careful about what he will say among other things.”
