The NPP has targeted some influential members of the NDC and others in top leadership positions and are luring them with mouth watering offers including cash and overseas trips to get them to put in their bids to contest with sure banker NDC candidates in the NDC primaries with a view to sowing internal divisions within the Party and eventually splitting the votes at the December elections and that at Techiman two weeks ago, one such top member of the NDC executive met with the brother of one of the Deputy Attorney General and was given an amount of ?60 million to sponsor him in such ?spoilage? tactics in the NDC primaries in his constituency?

Scenarios similar to the Techiman venue scenario above are to be staged for the under mentioned constituencies and that amounts ranging from ?10 million to ?50 million have been set aside for this purpose viz. Ejura-Sekyedumase, New Edubiase, (Ashanti); Asuogyaman, Fanteakwa (Eastern); KEEA, Awutu-Senya, Mfantseman West, Mfantseman East, Gomoa West (Central); Amenfi Central (Western), East Ayawaso (Greater Accra), Krachi. Biakoye, Ketu North, Ketu South, Ho Central, Ho East (Volta); Kumbungu, Bole (Northern); Nabdam, Bongo (Upper East); Wenchi West (Brong Ahafo), and that the likely scenarios will be for the NPP to try to bribe the NDC favourites themselves not to contest or to sponsor other credible NDC candidates against the favorites in order to create confusion in the NDC primaries?
