Television and radio personality, Anita Erskine says her impression of the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is that of a man who wants his people to love their country and by extension their continent.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat Wednesday, Anita was asked what she loved about the President of Ghana, Nana Addo.
Responding to the question, she said, “I love the fact that he loves Africa, he is passionate about Ghana but he loves Africa, and in other for him to do his work he’s teaching us how to love Ghana and how to love ourselves as Africans”.
In the one-hour riveting and revealing interview, Anita was also asked about the one thing she disliked about the Ghanaian President, but she ‘swerved’ that question, saying she was in no place to make such judgment.
“I don’t know, I haven’t analysed him. I don’t know at all. I have met him in person. He's the gender champion for AU. With my work, we interact all the time," she mentioned.
Anita is one of the media luminaries in Ghana and her career rise has been an inspiration for a lot of young women hoping to carve a niche for themselves in radio and television.
Her appearance on the Starr Chat with Bola Ray was part of the station’s way of celebrating International Women’s Day which fell on Thursday, March 8.
Anita’s first appearance on the Ghanaian media space was in 2006, where she hosted TV3’s music talent show, Mentor.
Anita was a presenter on DSTV Studio 53 where she hosted TV shows and was also Anita was once a Corporate Communications Director for Tigo owned by Millicom.
