Screen goddess Nana Ama McBrown has been voted Eurostar Best Dressed Female Celebrity on red carpet at the 2016 Ghana Movie Awards. The actress beat her colleagues Joselyn Dumas and Jackie Appiah who placed second and third respectively to win the topmost award. Mrs. Mensah takes home €3000 shopping voucher as winner with Joselyn Dumas and Jackie Appiah receiving €2000 shopping voucher and €1500 shopping voucher respectively.
Panel of the Eurostar Best Dressed Awards selected ten female celebrities who looked elegant at the event. They later cut the number to five and to the final three. The Kumawood star was announced winner on Monday, December 19 after the panel voted her as the best dressed female celebrity on red carpet at the 2016 Ghana Movie Awards.
Zionfelix.net reported after the 2016 Ghana Movie Awards, which happened on December 4 that female celebrities like Selley Galley, Zynnel Zuh and Nana Akua Addo have been disqualified from Eurostar Best Dressed Female Celebrities on red carpet award.
Giving reasons for their disqualification, Head of the review panel, Mr. Oscar Yao Doe who is also President & Executive Chairman Eurostar Limousine told Zionfelix.net that the three “failed to hold themselves as an Ambassadors for Ghana Fashion Review Red Carpet, and as a result we cannot associate our unique brand to such behaviour.”
Eurostar Global Limousines Group has been awarding Ghanaian celebrities who appear on red carpets at major events in the country with several thousands Euros worth of shopping voucher.
