The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B, has commended musician King Paluta for his composed response to critics following a viral video featuring him with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Nana B praised King Paluta's handling of questions from journalists who questioned his decision to sing alongside Dr. Bawumia during a campaign tour. He described King Paluta's approach as astute and praised the musician's achievements in the music industry.

"Currently, we are in touch with King Paluta. I viewed his video recently where he was interrogated about accepting the vice president's invitation. A journalist inquired, 'Why did you accept the vice president's invitation?' to which he looked at the individual and retorted, 'If the vice president invites you, wouldn't you attend?

"You, the journalist, expect me to honor your invitation, so how much more from a whole vice president?' He even mentioned that the NDC, Afafranto, and other parties could play it if they consider it good music. He is quite frank person," he stated during an interview with Angel FM.

Nana B's comments came in response to criticisms over a video showing King Paluta performing his hit song 'Aseda' alongside Vice President Bawumia during a bus tour in the Ashanti Region.

The video quickly gained traction online, leading to public debate and backlash.

In his defense, King Paluta argued that accepting the Vice President's invitation was not an issue and labelled critics as 'empty-headed,' sparking further controversy.
