Music Producer, Mark Okraku Mantey has shared his view with regards to the relationship between Gospel Musician Ernest Opoku and Kumawood Actress Gladys Mensah Boaku popularly known as Nayas 1.
The artiste manager expressed disappointment concerning the actress’ ill-bred attitude after she intentionally attacked the gospel artiste during a live worship session on radio.
According to Mantey, Nayas 1 has apologized to Multimedia Group Limited for barging into the studio uninvited yet that past cannot be overlooked anytime her name is mentioned.
“I wonder how she went through those security guards successfully and passed through all those stress to disgrace herself at the studio of a media house which she even benefits from. We were both on the same show on Adom FM just a few weeks before she did that. For me, I think that it is going to affect her for some number of years if not forever, and it will even affect her children. Her children will be tagged as ‘the lady who used a cane on Ernest Opoku some years ago’ and that will not paint a good picture about her.
“The reason we’re careful with the steps we take now is because of the fear of tomorrow, because we all know the past but we don’t know tomorrow.” He said on Hitz FM.
He, however advised that, issues in relationships should be duly resolved by the partners amicably before it get escalated in the media.
The incidence of Ernest Opoku and Nayas is said to had happened when Nayas 1 stormed Adom FM studio with a cane at her back planning to ‘lash’ her ‘lover’ who had just finished a Live Worship Program.
Management of the Multimedia group filed a case with the Nima Police and Nayas 1 was charged with unlawful entry.
The Kumawood actress has rendered an unqualified apology to the Multimedia Group Limited for assaulting her ‘lover’ in one of their studios.
Though the case is pending investigations, the actress has admitted her action was borne out of the pain she was going through.
“I did not plan to disgrace Multimedia but the conduct of Ernest Opoku triggered my action. I have regretted my action and I plead with Multimedia to forgive me” she stated in an interview on Kofi TV.
The movie producer also revealed that, Ernest Opoku and her have settled their differences and have agreed to remain friends.
