The latest episode of 'Tales of Nazir' features sports presenter Countryman Songo, Kofi ‘Abatay’ Asare Brako; investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas; and former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Osman Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The piece hilariously captures how Anas Aremeyaw Anas is bent on investigating activities of Mr. Nyantakyi even after the ‘Number12’ exposé which led to the resignation of the latter as GFA President.
Nyantakyi stands at the port and smiles upon the arrival of a container carrying imported tilapia.
“My tilapia has arrived. Today, Ghanaians must eat fish,” an elated Nyantakyi said.
Nazir, hiding behind one of the containers at the port sees the development, becomes suspicious and decides to be an informant. He makes a phone call to Anas while Countryman Songo and Abatay curiously wait for the journalist’s response.
“Anas, Nazir here. I’m here with Songo and Abatay at the harbor. But I think our man is not only taking Arab bribe. He is also into the illegal importation of tilapia. Anas, I’d rather you put your foot on the ground and investigate thoroughly,” said Nazir.
To his utmost surprise, Anas responds by telling him not to worry because he is “already in the container.”
