'New Castro' Orkortor out with a bang

New hiplife sensation in Cape Coast Orkortor Perry is already making waves in the Central Region capital with his new song ‘Testimony’.

Touted as Central Region’s Castro, the Fante rapper has called on Fantes and Cape Coasters to support him as he makes a grand entry into the hiplife world.

“By next year, my name will be in the main stream. They should keep supporting Cape Coast music,” Orkortor Perry known in private life as Nana Kwamena Takyi Orkortor said on Accra-based 95.1 FM on Friday.

The hiplife artiste said he had the inspiration to do music from way back junior high school (JHS).

“I look up to big guys like Castro,” he expressed admiration for the missing Takoradi artiste.

Orkortor Perry has promised to release his new album next month, in time for the Christmas festivities.
