“If people disappoint you in life, it is God’s way of opening your eyes to other options”, these were the words of Royale a rising Afro Beat star as he released his debut single titled “Seke Gbili” in Kumasi.

Giving a description of the music industry he said “ the major disease that is killing this industry is the backstabbing, disappointments, jealousy, dream killing from friends, engineers, producers and high cost of producing music and if you are not a strong minded fellow you will give up.”.

Royale describes himself as an eclectic artiste, easy going person and a God fearing fellow who has done his home work and is cooked for the market and believes in a few years he will be one of the best that Ghana can boast of.

Speaking as a victim, he advised dream killers to stay off up and coming artistes and allow them to harness their talents as that is a major blockage people like himself faced whilst trying to polish their raw talents.

He also went on to encourage underground artiste who are facing such problems not to listen to such talks but rather they should believe in themselves, hold on to their dream and be rest assured that, with Christ in the vessel, they will always smile at the storm.

Recorded by Sweet Poison (DDT) and mixed by Appietus, “Seke Gbili” gives an indication of how daring guys are and their readiness to do anything to get a lady they are genuinely interested in.

The term “Seke Gbili” gives a description of the level of craziness guys feel when they see beautiful ladies.

It also goes on to appreciate the beautiful ladies Africa is blessed with and how endowed they are and for free download of the song, just log on to “hulkshare.com”.

The song features groaning club beats, a smattering of clangs and chimes, honeyed piano riffs accompanied by a thumping, unrelenting bass line.

Christened Nana Ebo Newton from the central region of Ghana, he adopted the name Royale as a result of a revelation he had that everybody is a royal in the house of God during his quiet time reading the Bible.

Royale whose passion for singing started at the age of eight believes that music is in his DNA and he can penetrate the Ghanaian market with his single.

In his last words, he said “I urge everybody to follow his or her dream but in the quest of doing that, have your minds prepared that people are going to disappoint you as I have been a victim severally”.
