Prince Bright, a member of the erstwhile Buk Bak group, talked about how difficult it has been pertaining his music career as a sole surviving member of the group after staying away from the industry for years.

The “small thing” hitmaker left the scene for the United States of America after the demise of his brother, Ronny Coaches.

In an interview with DJ Candyman on Atinka FM, Prince Bright said he is more than pleased with the industry, especially with regards to the new crop of artists who are controlling the airwaves currently.

“The new artists in the industry are great, the likes of Krymi, Kuami Eugene, kIdi, King Promise are churning out wonderful songs” he stated.

He further stated that from his experience in the states, he believes the greatest challenge in the industry has to do with the intermittent payment and somewhat porous system of the industry with regards to royalties, but was however quick to add that it will be unfair to compare the system of the states with Ghana’s due to reasons that are very obvious.
