Gospel artiste, Abena Ruthy has made it so clear on the maiden edition of Gospel Countdown, a gospel entertainment countdown show on Atinka TV that up and coming gospel artistes would need GHC 50, 000 and more to make it in the gospel industry.

According to her, a lot goes into bringing out a song. Some of which include good production, promotion etc. However, she is pleading with the various DJs and presenters to play the songs when they release them.

Meanwhile, when the host of the show, Sammy Flex asked her whether the Nigerian Gospel musician, Sinach, has broken through the Ghanaian Music Industry with her songs and has gained recognition in Ghana? Abena Ruthy without hesitation admitted the fact that the Nigerian artiste indeed has broken through and her songs are all over the place.

She confirmed her likeness for most of her songs and sometimes sings them at programs when the opportunity avails itself. She believes Sinach’s songs have been accepted by Ghanaians including the DJs and presenters because they are powerful.

Abena Ruthy, a gospel artiste signed on the Media Excel Record label has released her second album going higher and it`s on the 9th position of the gospel chat. Though she believes in the activities of Ghanaian gospel artistes, she thinks they can improve on their works and use better titles when naming their songs.
