Hollywood actress, Uzoamaka Nwaneka Aduba, who stars in the hit series ‘Orange Is The New black’ picked up an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards which held on Saturday August 16th at the Nokia Theatre in L.A.

After picking her award, an elated Uzo said “I’m stuffed. I’m beyond full. My cup runneth over right now. I feel absolutely all of those things: I feel full of joy, like a fountain. Mission accomplished.”

The 33 year old was nominated alongside costars Natasha Lyonne and Laverne Cox.

Meanwhile, the HBO dramas Game of Thrones and True Detective, the critically exalted miniseries Fargo and the man behind the voice of The Simpsons’ billionaire tyrant Mr Burns emerged as early winners at this year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

For Game of Thrones, True Detective and Fargo the wins are a good omen for the main game, next weekend’s 66th annual prime-time Emmy Awards. The creative artsawards, which are held a week prior to the main Emmy Awards, focus on the behind-the-scenes creative disciplines of television production, such as hair-styling, picture editing, casting and art direction.
