Rapper Kwaku-T is set to release a new single titled ‘No Awam’, a campaign song that sheds light on his fire accident in South Africa and also speaks against living fake lives.
In an exclusive interview with Ghanaweb.com the former Peer Pressure artiste stated that there are too many people living fake lives in the country and as such wants to use his music to speak address the issue.
He also stated that “No Awam” which means no faking speaks to his life after the fire accident which sent him into coma.
He said: “No Awam” is basically to let people know that what I am living is real, my accident was not a movie, that was my real life. So I decided to put together this song to speak a little on that and at the same time as a campaign challenging everybody to be the most authentic version of themselves”.
“…there is a lot of things going on out here, from people balling in the clubs when they don’t have the money, to pastors raping their congregation and little kids. Right now you don’t know if when you are dealing with a girl whether her ass is implants or not and there is the fake underwear that they wear…the but looks bigger than what it is..” he added.
'No Awam' features Biko Music and Sanaa and is produced by Kuvie.
