Controversial musician Wanlov Kubolor is advocating for "no mercy" for government officials and public servants who use their positions to enrich themselves at the expense of the poor.
Speaking about the plight of Ghanaians during his performance on Saturday at the Asa Baako Music Festival at Busua, in the Western Region, Wanlov blamed the extreme poverty in African countries on incompetent and corrupt people who are at the helm of affairs.
In a spontaneous response to a fan who asked him for a solution, Wanlov suggested: "We should kill them ... cut cut their heads off," amid cheers from the crowd.
The half-duo of FOKN Bois group also described performing without his rhyme-partner, Mensa, as akin to "Ghana without electricity."
Other notable artistes who entertained revellers at the beach were Wiyaala, Paulina Oduro, and Kyekyeku. The three-day festival of music and dance ended on Sunday, 8th March.
