The above-mentioned headline was a statement made by Sleeky, promoter for Castro, and currently a publicist for 4x4 music group.

According to him, even though Castro is missing and all are aware of his absence within this short period, he has paved the way for many waving artistes in Ghana now.

"I will say not just because they are too good enough to take his position but it's because Ghanaians can't have that unique voice Castro had and they have no alternative than to accept what we have been dancing to."

Sleeky also made mention of how Castro's featuring in the on 'Sikilitele' song by 4x4 which officially introduced him into the local music scene.

"That was before he launched his debut album in 2003 and his hit single, “Sradinam”, which became one of the biggest hits in Ghana," he said.

He added, "It is only in Castro's season that you always hear him featured on upcoming artiste's songs to help bring talented and hidden artistes to the limelight."

The Publicist expressed his disappointment at the popular artistes have turned their backs on the underground talents and more often than not take huge sums of money for a feature rather than support these young talents.

"Our industry players will agree with me with no disrespect that Castro's style of singing really contributed to the success of about 40 percent of many of the reigning artistes in Ghana."

"Ghana is really missing Castro's performance and his music. Let's all pray and hope for Castro's return soon since we all believe in the great things God can do at the hardest time," Sleeky concluded.

Sleeky is the ceo of Ghanatunez.com and also the organiser of the western region DJs and presenters awards, who just expressed his opinion about the missing Ghanaian hiplife musician Castro.
