Drumpipo, a successful Ghanaian born South African-based jazz artiste has vowed never to relocate to Ghana.
The musician who is doing very well for himself in the Cyril Ramaphosa-led country in an interview with Zionfelix has stated that he is very okay in South Africa where he has been since 2007. According to him, his style of music is accepted in South Africa and that is making business boom for him so he sees no reason in relocating to Ghana.
Aside the fear of his career dying should he decide to stay in Ghana, Drumpipo added that “the economy is not too great.”
When Zionfelix asked the afro-jazz artiste and the last of 8 siblings if $2m will make him pack his things and stay in Ghana for good, Drumpipo replied no. He explained that the amount offered will finish so it will not make sense to accept two million dollars and move to Ghana.
The musician and movie producer who is married to a white woman and blessed with a child further revealed during his talk with Zionfelix that the country he will move to is Canada should he decide to leave South Africa.
