Nvannungi for Miss Ghana

Singer Sheila Nvannugi will be one of several African artistes that will perform at the glamorous Miss Ghana beauty contest in Accra.

The pageant will be held on September 25. The show's promoters Nana Ackah Yensu, a renowned event promoter and music producer in Accra and Akoja Edjeani Asiedu, a film actress and producer, invited Nvannugi.

"I'll perform my music the way it is. I told them I sing in Luganda but they said it was okay," Nvannugi said. She also said she would explore acting possibilities in Accra's lucrative film industry.
