Controversial evangelic pastor, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has denied claims that he said the late dancehall artist, Ebony Reigns, is in heaven after she died in a brutal accident just over a week ago.
Several days ago as news of Ebony Reigns' death were still fresh in the minds of Ghanaians, several news portals reported that Bishop Daniel Obinim stated that Ebony Reigns is in heaven.
The reports had it that the controversial pastor was urging friends and fans of the late dancehall artist to stop lamenting and rejoice because the Ebony had reached a better place in the hereafter.
"Ebony is in heaven and entertaining people there. Hell has rejected her gentle soul so Ghanaians should stop crying.” Read previous reports.
However, now reacting to claims that he said these things in an interview on Okay FM, Bishop Daniel Obinim completely dismissed the reports and urged the general public not to regard the false reports.
The controversial man of God stated that, in all honesty, if he said he had received a divine revelation regarding the late dancehall artist he'd be lying. He went on to say that he's never either seen or spoken to Ebony, and that he's never had a revelation about her before.
“This story attributed to me is false, I never said Ebony is in Heaven. To be honest, if I tell you God has revealed something about Ebony, I’ll be lying.
"I’ve never seen Ebony or spoken to her not even on phone. I’ve never had a revelation about her be it when she was alive or in her death. Based on this there’s no way I can ever publicly make any comment about Ebony.”
