The race to win MUSIGA president is on with many interested persons coming out to make their plans of picking nomination forms known.

Appietus days ago publicly made it known that he will contest Obour for the position and he is not retracting from his statement.

The music producer cum musician on Radio Univers Monday morning told Abrantepa, host of Brunch 2 Lunch entertainment show that Obour has been praising himself with comments that he is the best president the Musician Union has had so far.

“The way things turned out to be from Obour’s first term of office, things have become slow. The kind of work we needed to do, we did not do it which will obviously pileup for next term. Obour does not listen to anything you tell him.

He used to listen to us at the beginning which made this good for us but after sometime he became difficult in listening to us. If you tell him anything he tells you I’m better than my predecessors.”

Appiah Dankwah popularly known as Appietus said nothing will stop him from vying for the MUSIGA president position.

“Since I declared my intention, they have been trying efforts to make me stop contesting. I’m only going to stand aside for Obour if he is going to sign a contract that whatever we sign, he is going to go by it when he gets a second term as MUSIGA president.

Some of the clauses that if you are not an executive you cannot stand is not fair. I’m an executive so it is not going to stop me.

If he thinks he is increasing the nomination fee from Gh500 to Gh3000 to deter me then he is lying. Nothing will stop me contesting him.”
