Obrafour To Retire Soon

Obrafour Kwabena Kyere Darko a.k.a Obrafour one of the pioneers of the newly created Ghanaian music (western style rhythm infuse with local stuff) hip life is planning to retire from the scene to enable him concentrate on his ambition to unearth new talents in the hip life music system.

Obrafour made these revelations during a phone interview on a Ghanaian owned internet radio station in Amsterdam, on its breakfast show that comes on every Friday with the king of the airwaves in the African community AK47 the host, the show which can be heard via internet on http://www.njoyonline.com/ starts from 06:00 to 10:00 Central European Time. Obrafour said his biggest goal is to leave a legacy as the only hip-life musician with decent lyrics.

Asked how he came by the name Obrafour, the 28 year old hip-life star who now has 4 hits albums to his credit said he chose that name because he wanted to prove to the world that he came to straightened and bring sanity into the hip-life scene, which was earlier criticized by most Ghanaians as immoral due to the nature of some of the lyrics being used by some of the musicians.

Obrafour said hip-life has done more good than harm because of its effect morally on the people and the musician?s life. Watch out for his new album which will be released in June.
