Sample of Execution Wear Hip-life big-shot Kwabena Darko a.k.a. Obrafour, otherwise known as The Executioner, will very soon launch his novelty project. This is not another personal album. After all, he already has four albums - Pae Mu Ka, Asemsebe, Tofa and Ntetiepa plus a single - Mama and he?s just about to hit you big time with a compilation album in studios at its mixing stages as you read this.

Obrafour?s fashion company, Execution Clothing will release the first of its much-awaited lines called ?O4?. If this dream sees light of day (I?m skeptical because of what I have learnt about this industry and lip-services), ?O4?, will be the very first mass-produced fashion product by a Ghanaian musician.

Already failed attempts have been recorded of such big hip-life names and their fashion lines such as Tic Tac (Tic Wear by Brown Samuels), Lord Kenya (LK Designs by the late Nii Tetteh Adzedu), Nana Quame (NQ Wear by Brown Samuels), VIP, and even Obrafour himself (Execution Jeans)

Sample of Execution Wear At the moment, only 300 sample pieces are available at the Execution Entertainment camp and are been tested by top personalities especially radio presenters. On Wednesday December 31st, 2003, when Obrafour went for an interview on Joy FM?s Super Morning Show, all his 12-member escorts (and crew) could be spotted in Obrafour?s ?O4? in three different colours. The Wine-and-grey, Blue-and-white and Black-and-orange mixes.

Already Joy FM?s Bola Ray has his. King of local Breakfast shows, Komla Dumour was last spotted in one. King of comedy Kweku Sintim-Misa who was given one has, according to Mohamed Khan Obrafour?s A&R, ordered 6 pairs for his children. And I hear Ghanaian International football star Samuel Osei Kuffour has called Obrafour for discussions. Any clue? Top defender Kuffour?s jersey number at Bayern Munich Football club is ?04?.

It would be recalled that last year when Obrafour launched his individual social responsibility project, The National Campaign for Greater Discipline dubbed The Platinum Project, which was closely monitored and supported by His Excellency the vice president of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, he announced the coming of his fashion line for early this year.

At the moment Obrafour?s hard working team is seriously planning an exclusive launch and promotional campaign for the fashion line.

?It will be a double launch at the National Theatre; the cloth will be unleashed alongside his upcoming compilation album featuring Obrafour, 4X4, Okyeame Kofi, Tiny, Dogo, and Execution Entertainment?s newly signed sensation Kaw Kesi?, reveals Richard Agyeman Berko, PRO of Execution Entertainment.

?I?m growing and I have to think about my future. I can not do music forever but, may be, I can do fashion forever, even when I had finished my mission on earth.? Hip-life?s most respected lyricist, Obrafour told Ghana Music.Com over the weekend.

The ?O4? line, when released, will include bags, durags, bandanas, underwear, socks, and jeans suits.

For more info, contact his management via e-mail at obrafour@ghanamusic.com.

The artist?s official website www.obrafour.com will be launched at the same bash in March ending.  ?O4? shirts seen here starts from $33 (?300,000) to jeans suits $120 (1,080,000). Other lines include Execution Jeans and X-Cute for ladies.
