Sarkodie
History was indeed made on 8th August 2015 when TM Entertainmentz headed by Terry Masson and Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music pulled off a successful show at The Apollo Theater in New York.
With the help of EL, Lighter, The Compozers, Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese, Jadiluc, Squadee, Duke of D2, Bizsy Allstate, Bisa Kdei, actor John Dumelo, comedians – Cocoyam and Boga and Afro Pop Nigerian artiste Banky W, Sarkodie was able to pack the 2000 seat auditorium.
But meanwhile former member of the music duo, Akyeame, heavily criticised Sarkodie for stating that his event was the first to be in history.
In a message on Quophi Okyeame facebook page, he corrected fans of Sarkodie that he, together with his former group, Osibisa and Daddy Lumba were the first to have set record at the same venue years back.
His comment have received lots of critics from entertainment gurus in the Music Industry.
