Ofori Amponsah to release 'Daamabi' official video after 18 years

Known in showbiz circles as Ofori Amponsah the indigenous and contemporary highlife musician after eighteen years is set to drop the much-awaited music video for his 2001 hit song "Daamabi.

The year 2001, witnessed Mr. All4Real released the nationwide banger dubbed “Damaabi”, which patrons were yearning for a music video but unfortunately the legend has finally worked on a contemporary visual for the song.

In an interview, the multiple award-winning act revealed that he knows his die-hard fans wanted this video and not only Daamabi video.

He continued that, there are more songs that he [Ofori Amponsah] has recorded and never shot a video for it, which he’s going to name it “Ofori Amponsah Classics” but with Daamabi it will be on your screens soon and all online video platforms.

When asked why now shoot the music video for Damabi after 18 years? He averred that: the song [Damabi] has done a lot for lovers and many still jam to the song so I decided to shoot a video for this song, which is also one of my favourite records I’ve worked on.

Ofori Amponsah left the music scene in 2013 and came back with the banger Alewa in 2015 featuring the current BET HIP POP award winner Sarkodie.
