Ohemaa Mercy Grabs Award In Toronto

Undoubtedly, Ohemaa Mercy has no size in the Ghanaian gospel music industry.

She is an artiste who has been consistent for the past five years in her music life from “Adamfo Papa” down to “Wobeye Kese” which is the toast of all Ghanaian music lovers. After Ohemaa Mercy was chosen as the artiste of the year in the Ghana Music Awards 2009, she was again nominated for the Africa Gospel Awards 2010 in U.K which will be held in July this year.

And just before that award in the States, the people of Toronto in Collaboration with the church of Pentecost awarded various Ghanaian Artistes who have blessed the people of Toronto in the year under review and Ohemaa Mercy was again awarded as the Ghanaian Gospel Artiste of the Year 2010.

In the European tour, the affable Ohemaa Mercy performed live in Paris, Holland, Belgium and many more. She left Europe to Canada for the first time and on arrival, Ohemaa Mercy had a Concert at the Ghana Presbyterian church in Toronto and it was an Event that saw over a thousand audiences. Ohemaa Mercy, the award winner of the G.M.A Gospel Artiste of the Year torn down the concert hall with a splendid and a memorable performance on the day.

She Performed live as usual with a Canadian based Ghanaian Band called the “Gye Nyame Band”. She trilled her fans to all her lovely tunes from “Adamfo Papa” right down to “Edin Jesus” and to the ever powerful “Wobeye Kese”. Before the main performance, Ohemaa Mercy Empowered the Ghanaian youth to make good use of their youthful days which was followed by a powerful ministration and almost everybody among the audience testified to the presence of God.

Ohemaa the singing Mercy, left an indelible mark in the minds and heart of the people of Toronto so much that some fans couldn't stop asking for a part two of the night. She continued her tour to another powerful City in Canada called Montreal, where she had a wonderful time with her fans.

The Koforidua born Ohemaa Mercy treated thousands of fans at the McKeon Assembly to a powerful ministration and no one could stand the ministration. “She is indeed a minister” was all that you could read from the lips of all the fans.

The “wobe ye kese” artiste is again expected to have her MAJOR CONCERT at the National Theatre come December 2010 when she returns from her tour in Europe and U.S.A. She is also embarking on another tour in the United States this week, mainly “NY, NJ, MA, Colorado, Ohio and Atlanta” where she is expected to bless fans with her latest album “Wobeye Kese”

“I love all my Ghanaian fans in Ghana, Africa and the world at large. Tell Ghanaians I miss them all and will be back very soon with more fire” Ohemaa Mercy added. Ohemaa will be releasing a new one soon.
