Gospel minister, Mrs. Mercy Twum Ampofo popularly known as Ohemaa Mercy has officially inaugurated her outreach, Ohemaa Mercy Ministries, which has been in operation for years now.
The non-denominational organization was outdoored at a strictly by invitation event held on Saturday, June 4 at the plush Best Western Premiere Hotel in Accra.
Ohemaa Mercy at the show auctioned her attire she wore for 2015 Tehillah Experience event for Gh35, 000. She also appealed for fund to help the ministry embark on its upcoming projects.
The event hosted by TV presenter, Stacey Amoateng and minister Obed had performances from Francis Amo, Tagoe Sisters, Joe Mettle, Nacy and other renowned gospel musicians. Personalities who were at the event were Head Pastor and Founder of The Makers House Chapel, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye, Head pastor ICGC Calvary Temple, Dr. Anthony Cudjoe, Leader and Founder of Glorious Waves Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, CEO of Man Capital group, Mr. Michael Allan Asare, Parliamentary Aspirant Weija Constituency, Hon. Obuobia Darko, and many others.
Other celebrities who attended the launch included Patience Nyarko, Cindy Thompson, Diana Hopeson, Opiesie Esther and many others.
Ohemaa Mercy Ministries for the past years has visited prisons and orphanage homes in the country to proclaim the word of God and also donate items to them. The ministry in 2015 started a campus outreach program to evangelize to students in tertiary schools.
Ohemaa Mercy early June 2016 released her new single, “Wobesan Asore” off her 6th album, Aforebo. She is preparing to organize this year’s edition of Tehillah Experience slated for August 7.
