A member of music group, Atuatedom Family, has debunked reports that their leader, Okomfuor Kwadee has been abandoned by his family at a rehab centre for four years.
“There is no way our leader will be abandoned in the rehab centre for four years. I read the story myself this morning and it said since 2013, our family has visited the rehab centre … Kwadee was at the 2016 RTP Awards, so, calculate from 2016 to 2018, is it four years?”, he questioned.
Speaking with Natalia Nana Ama Andoh on Class 91.3FM’s Touch of Class, Peter said Okomfuor Kwadee “is fine, not only fine but in an unknown location”.
“I don’t know when you’re doing this programme again, I can arrange for you to talk to him (Okomfuor Kwadee) yourself and at least it would be able to clear so many doubts. I was really shocked when I saw this story. I can tell you Kwadee is very Okay”.
Peter further accused a lady named Lydia as the one responsible for the false reports.
According to him, the said Lydia owns a rehab centre “and she contacted Kwadee with a programme called ‘Stop Tramadol Campaign’. I don’t know too much about her and Kwadee, but I know the contract between them, and about Kwadee performing for her”.
He continued: “I don’t know anything about Kwadee living at her rehab centre but Kwadee lives in a house owned by this lady”.
According to him, Kwadee will be releasing an album soon titled: ‘Fa Wo Nsa Gu Ti’.
