Ace music producer, Mark Okraku Mantey says the reputation of the embattled fashion icon, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD), who is being held by the Airport Police Command for indecent assault will be greatly affected by the incident.
According to him, KKD will have to work a lot more to rebuild his image and reclaim his commercial value after the "crisis".
KKD was arrested on Saturday night at the African Regent Hotel for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl who spent some time with him.
He has been in the custody of the Airport Police Command since his arrest.
The 49-year-old father of two has not denied having sex with the 19-year-old girl, but he has refuted claims that he sexually assaulted her.
Speaking to Joy FM, the Slip records CEO said: “The brand KKD will be affected unless he manages the crisis very well.
“And even that not everyone will hear the entire truth. Some people just hear one side of the story and that’s all.
"And our moral fibre will not permit us understand a 50-year-old man with a 19-year-old girl”.
Meanwhile, attempts to secure bail for the ex-broadcaster Monday failed as both the prosecution and the accused teams arrived late for court.
He is billed to return to court for hearing on Tuesday December 30.
