Ghana's ‘Best Rapper Alive’, Okyeame Kwame has added his voice to messages of advice on the maintenance of peace throughout and after the 2012 general elections. He has said that unity and love is the legitimate means for ensuring continuity of the peace the country has.
He states this with the aim of letting not only his fans but all Ghanaians cultivate the habit of loving "one another because without love it is impossible for us to unite".
To the Rap Doctor, the Ghanaian can only progress if they have control over perception and their mindset. "Anything can be possible but it depends on our thinking ability" he stressed; "we must all think deeper than we have been doing always", he advised.
To this effect, O.K, initials of Okyeame Kwame, has released a new single off his fourth solo album, The Okyeame Kwame Versatile Show, with the aim, according to him, that his fans and all Ghanaians use the information in the song for purpose of unity irrespective of tribe, language, and difference in political affiliation.
Titled “Kwame Ke”, the song features Tinny, and Edem. It incorporates Twi, Ga, and Ewe with which O.K, Tinny, and Edem respectively, express the need for unity.
In a dramatic and technical manner, these three artistes are going to perform this song live at the National Theatre on 14th December, 2012 as Okyeame Kwame stages what is expected to be an outstanding show with all tracks and featured artistes on his album.
The show, dubbed The MTN Okyeame Kwame Versatile Show is obviously sponsored by MTN, and preparation towards it is ongoing as high number of dancers, skaters and acrobats turned out for an audition at the School of Performing Arts on the 21st of October, 2012.
There is also going to start airing soon, a TV reality series on MultiTV and GHOne. The reality series will show the journey of the event from auditions up to the final show at the National Theatre.
