Multiple award-winning Ghanaian artiste, Okyeame Kwame will tomorrow, December 6 launch the video of his Try Another Time collaboration with Nigerian star, J Martins at the, African Regent Hotel in Accra.
The 7.00pm invite-only event will feature performances by Okyeame Kwame, Miss V of D3, a traditional troupe and surprise guests.
J. Martins, real name Martins Okey Justice, is widely known in Ghana for songs such as Iva, Cool Temper, Adaowerri, Good Or Bad, Good Tym, Kele Papa, Believe and Oyoyo. He ranks among Nigeria’s top stars.
The deal for Okyeame and J Martins to collaborate was put together by Bola Ray’s Empire Entertainment, organisers of the annual Ghana Meets Naija concert. The beat for the song was created by EL but the vocals portions were recorded by Richie at his studio in Accra.
The song itself is a danceable piece that encourages people not to give up on their dreams. Okyeame says it is advise for all, especially the youth, to keep pushing till they realise their ambitions:

The Try Another Time song is a single from an album Okyeame is putting together called African Connection. It would contain 16 songs by Okyeame done in collaboration with 16 top African acts drawn from 16 countries across the continent.
According to Mrs. Annica Nsiah-Apau, Business and Brands Development Manager at One Mic Entertainment which manages Okyeame Kwame, both Okyeame and J Martins have fans in each other’s country.
Their collaboration will therefore be aggressively marketed in both Ghana and Nigeria.
