Opambour explains why he interceded to secure Agradaa’s freedom

Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, widely known as Opambour, has disclosed that he received a divine message from God while Agradaa was in prison, directing him to intercede on her behalf.

In a video circulating on social media, Opambour explained that he initially questioned God, wondering why he had been chosen to intervene, given that the court had already delivered its verdict and it seemed impossible to overturn it.

He went on to say that God reassured him the case was not yet concluded and that his prayers could bring about a miracle.

Opambour emphasised that he did not engage in any corrupt practices to secure Agradaa’s release.

Instead, he followed God’s instructions, which included fasting and other undisclosed actions. As a result, Agradaa’s prison sentence was reduced from 15 years to 12 months, leading to her eventual release.

“God told me I have to help her gain her freedom. If I don’t, her freedom isn’t guaranteed. Before God revealed this, He showed me that if I fasted and prayed for her, her case would be revisited and she would be freed. That means God has already forgiven her. He knows she insulted me before, but He also knows I am the one to help her,” Opambour shared.

Following Agradaa’s release on March 3, 2026, she recounted her time in prison and explained how she managed to secure an early release despite her initial 15-year sentence.

She credited Opambour for intervening on her behalf, stating that his prayers were the reason for her freedom.

Agradaa further disclosed that during her imprisonment, she had an encounter with angels who instructed her to have her husband seek out Opambour to pray to God for her liberation.
