Rapping in a native language (Ewe) and yet your message’s delivery gets to people who don’t understand the words but yet feels the delivery and creativity, then you are a genius. Edem’s rap style said it all in his single ‘Heyba’ as his energy level and delivery in his local dialect (Ewe) was a perfect match for the beat as it got people pausing the song and wish they understood the entirety of what the Ewe man was delivering.
