Organizers of 2016 Kumawood Awards blasted

Celebritytvgh.com has chanced on a message circulating on social media network, WhatsApp which tells actors and movie makers who have been nominated for the 2015 edition of Kumawood Akoben Film Festival to call organizers of the show for their nomination letters.

“KUMAWOOD N AKOBEN FILM AWARDS: Please we are humbly informing all nominees of kumawood awards 2015 to please contact this number 0244588620 for your nomination letters…Thanks for your corporation” the unedited message read.

Mr Samuel Darko, CEO of Samdackus Initiative, organisers of the awards in a chat with Celebritytvgh.com confirmed the authenticity of the message asking nominees to call for their nomination letters.

Entertainers who have come across the message have raised their voices against the idea of nominees calling organisers for their nomination letters. To these critics, it is not appropriate for nominees to call organisers for their letters.

Kumawood And Akoben Film Festival comes off on January 23 at Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.
